EIGRP tolerates arbitrary topology better than OSPF use. The topology of EIGRP is a lot less strict than the two-tad strict hierarchy of OSPF, but because of that, it is recommended that you are cautious with your design and include route summarization and sub routers to limit the scope of queries within the EIGRP domain.
